Why Now?
As we face unprecedented planetary shifts, we're being called to reimagine leadership through creative pathways to collective and planetary healing. This is the moment to embody new possibilities within ourselves and co-create a thriving future.
This retreat happens during whale migration season intentionally: to learn from the ancestral wisdom of beings who never lost their way, who carry memory in their bodies, who steward the ocean by creating culture through their ancestral movements, memories, songs and community.

BAJA CALIFORNIA SUR
Baja California Sur is ancestral territory where Pericú, Guaycura, and Cochimí stewards have lived in reciprocity with the land for thousands of years. Vibrant desert and ocean meet in sacred balance. Fresh-water oases emerge as they always have—gifts known and protected by those who tend this land. Here, the Pacific and Gulf converge, creating waters that have held life since the beginning of memory.
A diversity of beings call these ecosystems home—from the ancestral songs of migratory whales carrying memory through ocean currents, to towering cardón cacti standing as ancient guardians who have witnessed millennia of ecological balance, tension, and resilience.

A gathering co-created and immersed in community and the ancestral technologies of the Earth
The Restore Stewardship gathering is a living testament to what emerges when we co-create in community and embrace collective visioning. Through shared resources, creativity, and mutual support, this offering reimagines leadership as a practice of stewardship rooted in reciprocity, care, and creativity.
We're honored to collaborate with Global Pax Collective—an international group of artists, elders, scientists, activists, educators, and creative humans with the mission of promoting peace, healthy human development, and planetary health through arts and cultural activities that integrate intergenerational and multicultural perspectives.
This intimate gathering will be facilitated by Ioana in collaboration with our local community of hosts, guides, and elders in La Paz. Though carefully curated, we also encourage each participant to bring their offerings and contributions to this co-created space. This is where the magic truly unfolds.
Ioana Todosia, Root Facilitator
Over the past eight years, I've dedicated my life's work to weaving cross-cultural networks like an underground mycelial web—curating and facilitating transformative experiences that bridge peoples, places, and paradigms. This work culminated in creating the Comuna.Earth platform, a space to reimagine bio-cultural systems of learning, healing, and wellbeing that serve Life.
For the last five years, I've had the privilege of rooting in Mexico, becoming a humble student of Indigenous and multi-knowledge systems, receiving wisdom from beloved and generous elders, plant medicine practices and animist ceremonies, and embracing death and grief as profound guides to greater aliveness. Alongside this work, I keep my creative fire burning through art, music, sound exploration, and walking this planet in a state of awe.
