Who is this retreat for?

This retreat is for those who feel the urgency of healing our relationship with the Earth and recognize that meaningful change begins within. If you feel called to reconnect with your inner nature as a steward of life—whether you work with the land, guide communities, shape systems, or long to deepen your connection with the living world—this is for you. It invites leaders, artists, culture workers, healers, and seekers to step into co-creatorship with Earth’s living systems, offering space to restore, reflect, and remember our role as stewards in the web of life.

Why we’re inviting you in

We’re inviting you because the Earth needs more leaders who can steward transformation—not just within their organizations or communities, but within themselves and the living systems they inhabit and impact. This retreat offers an opportunity to pause, to listen deeply, and to restore our innate capacity as stewards of regenerative change.

Why now?

As we face the global meta-crisis of our time, we are being called to reimagine leadership as a pathway to harmonizing personal, collective and planetary wellbeing. This is the moment to embody new systems within ourselves and co-create a thriving future. By re-membering our place within Earth’s living systems, we return to leadership as a process of stewardship.

When leadership remembers the Earth, our somatic success metrics become rooted in healing, deep listening, and regeneration

Retreat Experience

BAJA CALIFORNIA SUR

Baja California Sur is a majestic territory composed of vibrant desert landscapes with fresh-water oases, ocean currents that merge with the sea, and a diversity of beings that call its ecosystems home. The ancestral songs of migratory whales blend harmoniously into the world's aquarium, alive with expressions of biodiversity and interconnectedness. Towering cardón cacti stand tall over the desert landscape as guardians that have witnessed millennia of ecological balance, tensions and resilience.

It is a deep honour to be invited to co-create this transformative experience with community in Baja Sur. By slowing down and connecting with the wisdom of the lands and waters, we can reawaken our earth-based consciousness and embrace stewardship as a creative and embodied form of leadership in service to the living systems that sustain our personal, collective, and planetary wellbeing.

A Journey Co-Created in Community

The RESTORE Stewardship Retreat is a living testament to what can emerge when we co-create in community and embrace the power of collective visioning. Through shared resources, connections, and mutual support, this container reflects the wisdom of the mycorrhizal web—re-imagining leadership as a co-creative process of stewardship rooted in reciprocity and care.

We’re thrilled to join our network with the local network of Global Pax Collective in creating and offering this unique retreat. Global Pax Collective is an international group of creatives (artists, scientists, activists, educators, and creative humans) with the mission of promoting peace, healthy human development, and planetary health through arts and cultural activities through a rights-based approach, integrating intergenerational and multicultural perspectives.

This retreat is honoured to be guided by two abuelas (elders) from the La Paz community who will lead us in ceremonies of offering and gratitude to the land, waters, and more-than-human life, grounding the experience in deep reverence and connection. Their presence and ancestral wisdom is a profound gift, inviting us to learn from traditions rooted in stewardship of the land and cultural continuity.

Ioana Todosia, Root Facilitator and Guide

Over the past seven years, I've dedicated my life's work to weaving cross-cultural networks like an underground mycelial web– curating and facilitating transformative experiences that bridge peoples, places and paradigms. Culminating in the creation of the Comuna.Earth platform–a space to reimagine bio-cultural learning, healing, and wellbeing systems that are in service to Life.

For the last four years, I've had the privilege of rooting in Mexico, becoming a humble student of Indigenous and multi-knowledge systems, receiving wisdom from beloved and generous elders, plant medicine practices, animist ceremonies and rituals, and learning to embrace death and grief as profound guides to greater aliveness.

When this life’s work doesn’t absorb me, I’m igniting my inner creative fire by making art, exploring worlds through underground music and sound, and generally being in a state of awe moving through this planet we get to call home.
